Poor teaching can cause great harm. Recent research on the impact of teaching on student learning illuminates clearly what effective teaching looks like. We can now expose our students to scientific teaching approaches.
This symposium expects to provide an update of scientific approaches to impact the learning of your students. The program includes keynote lectures on contemporary and scholar teaching, and a buffet of workshops to allow discussion of implementation issues. We will be privileged to interact with bioscientists who have also accumulated an international reputation for scholarship in the education of biosciences.
If you are somehow involved in teaching of biosciences, this is a unique not to miss opportunity. The programme targets academic staff and post-graduate students with interest in teaching and learning and in scholarship approaches to collect evidence about the impact of teaching and learning.

FEBS has awarded 5 bursaries to help early-career researchers participate.
